Ashley did not grow up dancing. Actually, when she first came to Latin Dance Jax and Monarch Ballroom, she contemplated cancelling her first lesson and not going through with it. Thankfully, with encouragement from her new instructor and personal cheerleader, Alex Gonzalez, she took the leap and hasn't looked back. LDJ's amazing instruction has caused her to grow immensely, both as a dancer and as a person. Through this years-long process, she discovered a passion for Latin dance and is so excited to now hopefully ignite that same passion in her own students. She is also so grateful for the sense of community that has been cultivated in this studio. We're all family here.
